This is the word of the Living God to the nation of the United States of America.

Listen to Me. Have you reaped holiness in all the sin you have sown? No! You have reaped sin and evil upon yourselves for the sin which you have sown. For what you sow you shall reap! Therefore you shall reap judgment and evil upon your nation.

Pray for it, that some would be saved. Pray for it that through the judgment of God, some would be saved. Pray that the people alize what is about to occur will turn and tell their neighbor, tell their friends, tell the people that there is a great judgment of God coming. And when they do so, they may be laughed at, they may be scoffed at, but when it comes the people will remember and some will be saved through that witness.

That is the word of prophecy in this hour, to tell the people, to let them know, this judgment is coming, it is from God. And when it comes, know it, for it was prophecied by the prophets of the Lord.

Here the word and know that God is seeking to shake up the people to a great repentance. For nothing to this day has brought a true repentance in the United States. But I will bring it, says the Lord, by judgment, for so is the way they have chosen. They will not receive it in another way, therefore they will have to receive it by judgment, and I will judge them until their repentance, says the Lord God.

A Word From The Lord to David Heischman

My People,

There is a great darkness that has fallen upon the earth, and the hearts of multitudes have grown cold as ice, as the needy and the hurting have been trampled under feet. Repeated warnings that I have given have gone totally unnoticed, as the blood of many innocent people has been spilled. Little ones by the thousands have been murdered, but yet somehow within the mind of the those who have murdered, seems to be total justification for such acts.The blood of these innocent ones cry up to Me, and now the fury of My Anger is kindled. I Am about to judge this earth My People, and before I do this thing, do I tell you of it.

Greed has so taken over those in the world, and their wealth and their money has certainly become their god. You have seen but a taste of what I shall do. Their money shall be as worthless as the stubble of the fields. The waters have been poluted, and even my cattle have been infested by the carelessness and sinfulness of man. A famine shall be sent unto those who have turned their faces from Me, and upon the whole earth shall be a darkness and a sadness that will drive them to their knees.

I have been longsuffering and compassionate for many a season, but now shall I act with a swiftness.

My Children shall be protected from the great judgement on the earth, and in this time shall My People be hated by many, but there will be many that shall seek out The Lord Of All Righteousness, and shall turn from their wickedness, and unto those people will I yet have mercy. Many will seek out My People for an answer to their grief and despair, and unto those that repent and turn unto Me, shall I bless and comfort.

Even in this very dark hour shall I Shine My Righteousness upon My Own, and they shall not lack. They shall not hunger or thirst, for I Alone Shall Feed Them. I will fill My Own with such an Infilling Of The Spirit Of God that they will surely be The Fulfillment of what I spoke when I was yet with The Twelve. " You have seen Me do great and mighty works, but I tell you, Greater Works shall you do, because I return to My Father." My Holy Spirit shall so fill My People, that they shall walk in My Strength and Anointing. For have I not said, Not By Might, Nor By Power, But By My Spirit Saith The Lord?

Do not be sad or disheartened My People, but pray without ceasing, and prepare your hearts, for those who walk by My Side shall not fail, and shall not want, but their joy shall be unspeakable and full of glory.

I have given unto a very strong word, but know that My Own will be safe within My Arms. Know that what I speak of must come to pass, and very very soon shall you see Me, just as I have promised, standing upon The Clouds Of Heaven, and I will call you unto Myself; into My Glorious Kingdom that will never end.

I leave My Joy and My Peace with you this day, and call you to My Throne Room, there to be blessed and filled and transformed by The Spirit Of The Living God.

I Am with you in this last few seconds that remain upon the earth, and I shall be with you forever more, to The Glory And The Honor Of My Name.

Pope reaches out to Jews in Midnight Mass

VATICAN CITY (AP) - In a joyous Christmas message to the world, Pope John Paul II hailed the Jews as the people who gave Jesus Christ to all mankind.

His gesture to the people he calls Christianity's ``elder brothers'' during midnight Mass on Wednesday night carried a special resonance: It came the day after a Hanukkah candle was lighted at the Vatican for the first time in history.

``The birth of the Messiah! It is the central event in the history of humanity,'' John Paul said in his homily at St. Peter's Basilica. ``The whole human race was awaiting it with a vague presentiment; the Chosen People awaited with explicit awareness.''

I like you, William, have been watching and waiting to see the sequence of the events that are forecast to transpire. Certainly, the events have motivated many to relook at their own spirituality and brought with it a more serious consideration of Christianity in practice. Personally, even given the "false Christs" that our Lord talks of in the NT, the plausibility of such "end times" events appears quite feasible, even if the "exact timing" is unknown.

From a personal level, the message of Christmas remains paramount in my heart. Jesus came to show us how to live, love, and worship together...with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Without a doubt, the Blessed Virgin who wears the crown of 12 stars comes with the same message. Certainly, I have been very blessed in the past two years with the gifts of mercy from God through His intervention, being touched by the Holy Spirit and through the orchestration through others. A friend of mine calls people who do help, "Angels", and some indeed are.

Each day I see people who are "broken". Broken relationships, greed, self centredness, love of money, etc. abound in my world. Many people call out for help and many do not receive help from their fellow man. So as we come up to our Lord's birthday celebration, I pray that my heart will be open to the gift of giving to others, sinners & lost souls, who cross our path...I pray that others ad this message will do likewise.

To all readers of this message, I hope that each of you will be touched with the true Spirit of Christ at Christmas and that your families will be blessed with joy, peace, happiness and hope.

BIGGEST HANUKKAH FOR 2300 YEARS!

In one of the special and prominent 50th anniversary projects of the Foreign Ministry, the leaders of various countries will on Tuesday, 23.12.97 light the first Hanukkah candle to open the celebrations Foreign Ministry efforts have succeeded in bringing some 33 leaders to light the Hanukkah candle and to welcome Israel's jubilee.

Among the leaders are US President Bill Clinton who will light a Hanukkah candle in the Oval Office together with pupils from a Jewish school; the Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair; the President of Germany Roman Herzog; Prime Minister of France Lionel Jospin; Prime Minister of Canada Jean Cretien; Prime Minister of Australia John Howard; Chancellor of Austria Wolfgang Schiessel; the Prime Minister of Thailand Chuan Leekpai; President of Georgia Eduard Shvardnadze; the President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Havel; and the President of Italy Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, who will light the Hanukkah candle under the Arch of Titus.

Deputy Prime Minister and Tourism Minister Moshe Katzav will attend the ceremony in Rome with the Italian President and other leaders. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 23.12.97, at 19:00 (Rome time). Minister Katzav, Italian Prime Minister Romano Parodi, Foreign Minister Lamberto Dini, Deputy Prime Minister and Culture Minister Walter Voltroni, the Mayor of Rome Francesco Ratali, the Chief Rabbi of Italy Elio Toaff and the Israeli Ambassador Yehuda Milo will speak at the ceremony.

Report: Abortions now offered in first week of pregnancy

The procedure, pioneered by Dr. Jerry Edwards, of Houston, Texas, is made possible by advancements in ultrasound imaging, the Times reported. Some ultrasounds can now detect pregnancy as soon as the embryo is implanted in the womb, within a week of conception, the paper said.

The technique uses a hand-held syringe, rather than a vacuum pump, and is less expensive and less noisy than more widely practiced procedures. It could also easily be used in developing countries where electricity is not always available, the Times said.

"Our Lady" Plaque Returns to Mexico for Christmas

The "Our Lady" plaque will travel to Mexico during the Christmas holiday season, and the Holguin home will be closed to visitors from Thursday, December 18th through Tuesday, January 6th. Maggie Holguin and her family will be spending Christmas in Mexico with Maggie's family, this is the first visit back to Mexico for her in eight years.

The one year anniversary of the "Our Lady" plaque weeping tears was personally celebrated by over a hundred people as they gathered at the Holguin home at 12:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 1997, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. While there, the group spent time in prayer and meditation. That same evening at 8 p.m. the plaque was brought to St. Nicholas Church in Kinsley, a Spanish Mass was held in honor of the anniversary with Father William Vogel presiding at the mass. Saturday morning, December 13th, several families were gathered in Lewis, at the Holguin home along with Maggie in prayer. During their prayers the room filled with the scent of roses, the containers in the room that are filled with Holy Water smelled and tasted of roses, and Maggie began to perspire a mixture of oil and blood. Many of those in attendance helped to wipe her face by blotting it with cotton balls.

The plaque, which had not wept since December 8, 1997, the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception, did weep again on Sunday, December 14th. Father Vogel accompanied Sister Frances Biernacki, a Dominican Sister from Great Bend, to Lewis for her first visit to the phenomenon. While the Sister was there the plaque did weep tears of blood. Sister Biernacki touched the tears that were still wet and made the sign of the cross on her forehead. There were hundreds who came to view the plaque over the past weekend in honor of the one year anniversary.

And after this, some receive, often times, another deception from the demon, that is, of transforming himself in the form of light. Because he sees the mind swallowed up and placing its desires only in consolations and mental visions (in which the soul must not place its desire, but only in the the virtues, and in those, repute oneself, through humility, unworthy, and, to receive in these consolations, My affection), I say that the demon then transforms himself, in that mind, in the form of light, in different ways: sometimes in the form of an angel, and sometimes in the form of My Truth, or in another form of My saints. And this he does in order to catch it with the fish-hook of one's own spiritual pleasure which one has placed in visions and pleasures of the mind. And if this soul does not take flight, with true humility, despising every pleasure, it remains caught with this hook in the hands of the demon. But if, despising the pleasure, it holds fast, with humility and with love, to affection of Me, who am the giver, and not to the gift; the demon, cannot, because of his pride, bear the humble mind.

It is still not too late for a 1997 rapture, and I am still looking and hoping, up until 11:59:59, December 31. However, if it does not occur, let us remain expectant and ready. There are at least three exciting and significant biblical interpretations that make it likely in 1998.

1. The understanding of the rabbi in Jerusalem that it would have to occur in a once-in-history window of time after Jerusalem reached 30 years of age (June, 1997) and before Israel reaches age 50 (May 14, 1998), corresponding with God's "over 30 and under 50" age biblical requirement for priesthood.(See article on "hot fax from Jerusalem" at http://www.cosmoslink.net/~watchman/jb/ (click on "UPDATES").

2. Marilyn Agee's excellent study and conclusion that it will be Pentecost, May 31, 1998. See http://www.kiwi.net/~mjagee/.

3. I was recently reminded of John Zachary's work, who believes he has proven the Second Coming on October 4, 2005 (Feast of Trumpets), with the rapture and beginning of the Tribulation in 1998 (August-September, I believe). I have been reviewing some of his written material, and was advised yesterday by a friend in Colorado that John has a Web site at http://www.harvardhouse.com/. This fellow knows John personally and speaks very highly of him. His 2005 year agrees with New Zealander George C. Curle who arrives at that year through totally different and varying biblical means.

All three of the above are from Godly, sincere, and highly intelligent people. But what is God's opinion, the only one that matters? Let us continue to seek Him and be open to His voice.

Syria Continuing to Stockpile Weaponry

According to a report given yesterday to members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee by a senior IDF officer, the Syrians are continuing to stockpile weaponry that may be used against Israel in an offensive attack.

Syria is reported to have acquired 200 T-55 advanced tanks and is expecting more in the future. Syria is also expected to take delivery of anti-aircraft missiles, also to be supplied by Russia.

Despite overtures of its willingness to return to the negotiating table with Israel, the Syrian administration has not backed down from its original demand that an Israeli withdrawal from the entire Golan Heights be a prerequisite to serious peace negotiations.

RECORD FLOWER EXPORT

This year's Israeli flower export reached an unprecedented peak of 1.5 billion flowers. Flower Council Director-General Yaacov Siton said that this is a 10% rise in exports over last year, and a 50% rise compared to four years ago, when no more than one billion flowers were sold abroad.

The leading export flowers are roses (450 million), standard carnations (117 million), and gypsophila (111 million). 90% percent of Israeli flower production is channeled for export, primarily to Holland and Germany. {ARUTZ 7 12/14 B}

UPDATE # 4 on Charlene, my wife's 12-year-old cousin who has been in a coma for more than two months due to encephalitis. Many of you have been praying.

PRAISE REPORT!!! MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH!!!

Suddenly this morning, December 12, 1997, at 2 a.m., Charlene spoke for the very first time! Her grandmother was present. Charlene said, "Where's my mom? Where's my dad?"

Her grandmother and the nurse asked her several questions, such as, "What grade are you in? What school do you go to?" and others. She answered every question correctly, indicating her brain is functioning properly.

Charlene asked, "What are these tubes doing in me?" The nurse explained that they were so they could get food in her. Charlene replied that from now on she wanted to take her food through her mouth! Halleluyah!

This is truly a miracle. Just a little over two months ago the doctors gave up and suggested to the parents that they consider disconnecting life support. Right away I talked with the mother on the telephone and urged her to disregard the doctor's advice, to hold on, and to "let's believe God for a miracle." God is a miracle-working God. All things, including what is impossible with man, is possible with God, and "to him that believeth," the Bible says.

Many have been praying strong prayers of faith, not wishy-washy, uncertain prayers. In His grace and mercy, God has answered. Let us praise His name together.

He is worthy to receive all honor, and glory, and majesty, now and forever more!

And thank you and bless you for your prayers.

JUBILEE AS A WINDOW ON ETERNITY

VATICAN (CWN) -- In his weekly catechetical audience today, Pope John Paul II said that the approach of the Jubilee Year 2000 gives Christians an occasion to reflect on the need to make good use of time. The coming of the millennium, he said, should also lead believers to "deepen our desire for eternal salvation."

The Jubilee, the Holy Father continued, is a time to seek a better knowledge of Jesus Christ in his humanity; the year 2000 "invites us to turn toward Christ, to contemplate his Nativity and the mystery of his Incarnation." That event, the Pope said, marked a "radical change" in human history, as "eternity entered into time." Now, he added, humanity is on the path of eternity, because "to participate in the life of Christ means to participate in his eternity."

Thus, the Pope concluded, the significance of the Jubilee is as "a door opening to eternal life."

She said: "Everyone you have ever come into contact with during your life...whether you liked or disliked them...everyone of them will be protected, because you have prayed for them all! Even enemies of yours will be protected, because you have prayed for the grace to forgive them for hurting you and you have prayed for them. THIS is what Our Lord wants more than anything!!! He wishes for all to pray for each other and to forgive each other. If everyone would pray for those they like and love and for those they dislike and consider enemies, then the world would be filled with the love of God, for that is where the love originates! Islamic summit opens with slap at West

TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Iran's spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei opened a summit of more than 50 Islamic leaders Tuesday in Tehran with a blistering attack on the West as a greedy society that is destroying the world.

"Western materialistic civilization is directing everyone toward materialism while money, gluttony and carnal desires are made the greatest aspirations," the Shi'ite Muslim clergy told leaders and high-ranking officials representing 55 Muslim nations.

The summit is the largest gathering of international leaders in Iran since the 1979 revolution. Analysts predict the meeting will mark a significant turning point in relations between Iran and the Arab world.

Jesus said: "My people, there will be many martyred for My Name's sake. The evil men will taunt you for believing in Me. These evil ones will be confounded, as later I will remove your ‘shame' by raising up My martyrs in their glorified bodies. Those, who were cursed by men, will be raised up above the carcasses of the dead unbelievers. Rejoice that you will be given the strength to endure these trials, even if you are asked to die for Me."

Our Lady of Emmitsburg message on 12/04/97

My dear little children, praise be Jesus! Little ones, there are so many children in the world today who are unloved, so many who are threatened with abuse and so many precious souls who fear for their very lives. Pray for all the little children of the world. Pray for the women who weep like Rachel from the loss of life.

This is a time when the joy of your Savior should be alive in your heart, a time when you await His coming with anticipation and excitement. He is coming. He knows your pain. He has lived your sorrow and He will heal you with His love. There is a "little" child in each one of you, a child who needs to be healed and loved.

Jesus will renew the face of this earth. Turn to Him with psalms of joy and songs of love. He will not forget you. Even if all should forget you, He will never forget you, or abandon you. He is your Emmanuel.

There would be no reason for children to be unloved, threatened or fearful if people would allow Jesus to heal them with His love. If people would take the time to pray to God, and admit their weakness and dependence on God, God would help them. But because of their stubbornness God leaves them to their own designs. You can pray for these people in the world. You can lift them up to the child Jesus and implore His merciful assistance. Jesus will come and through His mercy and love renew the face of the earth.

I bless you, little children, in His name and take your petitions to the Father. Pray and love the children, little ones. Pray and love the children. Peace to you.

Church workers in India undeterred by killings

Along with losing two nuns and two priests in cold blooded murders in last five years, the flourishing Church in the remote northeastern states of India has to live with a steady stream of threats and extortion by militant ethnic groups in the region. However, determined church workers say they are "undeterred and least worried" about these handicaps.

Study: Amazon Forest Is a Tinderbox

At least half of the Amazon rain forest is a tinderbox ready to go up in smoke, raising the specter of an ecological disaster that may wipe out the world's largest wilderness.

About 12 percent of the 2 million-square-mile jungle is already gone, and burning has been so intense in recent months that a lake caught fire and people in jungle cities are being treated for respiratory ailments.

And now, a new seven-year study suggests the burning may get much worse: The rain forest -- even at its pristine core -- is dangerously dry and flammable because of logging, deliberate burning around its edges and El Nino. The Associated Press obtained the research this week.

The latest Journal from the Marians of the Immaculate Conception at the Divine Mercy Shrine has a cover story about Sister Nirmala. Sister Nirmala was elected the new Superior General of the Missionaries of Charity as Mother Teresa's successor. According to her, all of Mother Teresa's nuns started spontaneously praying Divine Mercy at her tomb the day of her funeral and they have been doing so ever since. The artice is called "An Explosion of Divine Mercy".

Planets Parading for Viewers Just After Sunset This Week

Clear skies this month should reveal a string of planetary pearls, as seven of the nine biggest orbs in the solar system will bask in cosmic glory, according to the Bishop Planetarium in Bradenton. The brightest is Venus, appearing after sunset in the southwest sky. And Mercury is coming into view below Venus.

A pale red Mars will be visible to the lower right and Jupiter and its four largest moons high in the southwest sky. Look high in the southern sky just after 7 p.m. to find Saturn, the view benefiting from a lack of stars. Although harder to find, Uranus and Neptune appear in the high southwestern sky near Capricornus constellation, roughly in the area of Venus.

Jesus said: "My people, what you have read about these ancient kingdoms crumbling will be happening again with the kingdoms of THIS age. Man's greed and his sins are causing his structures to crack and fall under its own weight of evil. Even now, you are seeing financial and physical cracks in many countries about to be toppled.

There is no longer a desire to TRUST in Me, in holding up even your own nation. When man relies only on himself, he is doomed to FAILURE.
