Keep your eyes open!...

Oh, Jesus, King and Lord of the Church: I renew before you my unconditional loyalty to your vicar on Earth, the Pope. You've chosen to show us, through him, the true and sure path we must follow in the midst of confusion, unquiet and unrest. I firmly believe that, through him, You rule us, and sanctify us, and under his leadership we form the one true Church: Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. Grant me the grace to love, live and promulgate his teachings like a faithful son. Protect his life, enlighten his understanding, give his spirit strength, defend him from lies and evil. Quiet the erosive winds of infidelity and disobedience and let Your Church remain united around him, firm in growth and works, so that he will be your instrument for our salvation. Amen.
